Asymmetry Festival is an annual event, taking place in Wroclaw, Poland on the long May weekend (the 2012 edition - May 3rd-5th).
The event is focused on combining, often very remote musical stylistics, in a single festival space. Stylistics like doom, drone, experimental music, stoner rock, electronics, even hip-hop - the festival line-up resembles the broad interests of the Organizers and its attendees.
Moving on to the mentioned line-up, the 2012 edition will feature performance by, among others, Sleep, Killing Joke, Joe Lally (ex- Fugazi), Aethenor, Amenra, Obake, Bohren & der Club of Gore, Red Fang, Igorrr, Broken Note, Niveau Zero. However, that's not all - the crew is constantly working on some new and renown additions to the line-up.
During the previous editions we have guested such acts as Godflesh, Electric Wizard, Baroness, Jesu, Kylesa, Year of No Light, Minsk, Dalek, House of Low Culture, Weedeater, Zoroaster and numerous others.
This year's edition is a special one, as the Organizers of the festival, the Firlej club (which guested the previous three editions), have decided to move it to a totally new location. The location is the City's Browar Miejski [Bourgeois Brewery] - an intriguing industrial complex from the XIXc.
Tickets:
Whole festival (3-day) ticket – 220 pln (around 49 euro)
Single day ticket 3.05.2012. – 110 pln (around 25 euro)
Single day ticket 4.05.2012. – 50 pln (around 11 euro)
Single day ticket 5.05.2012. – 110pln (around 25 euro)
Tickets will be available for purchase on Wednesday Feb 1st (9:00-10:00) via the festival website:http://www.asymmetryfestival.pl and the following ticket sellers: Ticketpro and Ticketportal. We will announce more places of distribution places soon. The above mentioned offer is valid until March 5th, 2012.

ten dokument nebo ta deska? ten dokument fakt nejvic podlizava a ubrecena blbost, prvnich 15 minut tezkyho brekotu o tom, jak je tezky se protoloukat kdyz chces delat muziku full time a pak sem to radsi vypnul + to je jak je to rozfrazovany tak, ze vlastne nikdo nic nerekne a vsechno co je receno ja tam vypichnuty jako jedna zásadni CITACE. ale chapu ze je to o kapele cloveka, co o sobe .... No mě u toho občas až mrazí a to se mě stáva čím dál tím méně, takže to asi fakt dobrý je :)

Myslím, že tím "vytěžit" nebylo nutně myšlený vytěžit něco finančně, ale jinak jistě, na punkové turné se jezdí hlavně proto, aby se vydělalo, to je jasný... job jako každej jinej. Mění to, že vydělali málo nebo prodělali něco na tom, že hudebně ten reunion zní otřesně a že je jedním.... (text zkrácen)
